Katana - Sepia Blossom - s5 appleseed profile edge

The Sepia Blossom katana is made from tough s5 shock steel.  Don't let the name fool you, because the clam shell/apple seed edge bevel is meant not for smooth tameshigiri cuts, but rather for dealing out abuse on tough targets like 2x4s, tree limbs, and the like.

It's tightly wrapped in Cloudhammer's famous leather, and mounted with copper fittings.

With an HRC of 57, it has the hardness to hold a sharp cutting edge; yet it can be bent to 90 degrees without deformation.  It has an impact rating of 186. This allows for repeated blows against harder targets.
